We prescribe only FDA-approved GLP-1 medication such as Zepbound, Mounjaro and Wegovy, filled at your own pharmacy.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not reviewed by the FDA for strength, purity or sterility. We don't prescribe them, at any price.
Dr. Saad reviews your history, orders the labs, starts low and adjusts the dose at each visit. If something feels off, you call a doctor who knows you, not a support line.
Brand-name doesn't have to mean expensive. Most insurance plans cover these medications and we handle the prior authorization. If yours doesn't, we offer a discounted self-pay rate and help you use the manufacturer savings programs.

See Dr. Saad by secure video from anywhere in Illinois: Chicago, the suburbs, or downstate. Video visits work well for weight-management follow-ups, medication adjustments and refills, blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid check-ins, and reviewing your labs. You need a phone or computer with a camera and a quiet place to talk. Prescriptions go straight to your pharmacy. You need to be in Illinois at the time of your visit.
In office
Our office is at 201 E Ogden Ave, Suite 50, in Hinsdale, with free parking at the door. Come in for physicals, exams, body-composition analysis, or whenever you'd rather be seen in person. Evening hours Wednesday to Friday and Saturday mornings make it easier to fit a visit around work.

Patients come to our Hinsdale office from Oak Brook, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Western Springs, Burr Ridge, Darien, Downers Grove, Willowbrook, La Grange, Elmhurst and Lombard, and by telemedicine from across Illinois.

Will my insurance cover weight-loss medication?
Many PPO plans cover GLP-1 medication when criteria are met, and Medicare covers some for related conditions. Your visit and labs are billed to your insurance. We check your plan and submit the prior authorization for you; if medication isn't covered, we offer a discounted self-pay option.
Do you prescribe compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?
No. We prescribe FDA-approved, brand-name medication only, filled at your pharmacy.
Can I do my visits by video?
Yes, anywhere in Illinois. Physicals and anything that needs an exam are done in the Hinsdale office.
Are you accepting new primary care patients?
Yes. Most new patients are seen within the week. Bring your insurance card, a photo ID and your medications.
Do you offer telemedicine for weight loss?

What are the side effects of GLP-1 medication?
Nausea, constipation and reduced appetite are the most common, usually early on. We start low, increase slowly and adjust at each visit.
